Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: June 14, 2026

1. Event Agreement

By completing your online registration for Farmathon 2026, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Care of Humanity Education and Charitable Trust ("Trust"). You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted all these Terms and Conditions and the Liability Waiver.

2. Runner Eligibility & Registration Fees

Farmathon 2026 features two registration categories. You must ensure you register for the correct category based on age:

  • 3K Children's Walkathon: Open for children under 14 years of age. The registration fee is ₹399.
  • 5K Farmers Hope Run: Open for adults and teenagers between 15 and 60 years of age. The registration fee is ₹599.

Registration fees exclude optional additional charity donations which you may choose to make. The registration fees go directly toward supporting our farming welfare initiatives and cover the event logistics (t-shirts, BIB numbers, and refreshments).

3. Solo Registrations & BIB Transfers

All entries are registered on an individual (solo) basis. We do not support group/team reservations. BIB numbers and entries are strictly non-transferable. You may not assign, sell, or hand over your registration details or BIB number to any other runner. Doing so will invalidate the entry, and the participant will not be eligible for prizes or event timing records.

4. Medical Fitness & Liability Waiver

CRITICAL LIABILITY RELEASE NOTICE:

By registering, you certify that you are physically fit, have sufficiently trained for the distance category you selected, and have not been advised otherwise by a licensed medical practitioner.

You assume full responsibility for any and all risks associated with participating in Farmathon 2026, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather, traffic, and road conditions. You hereby waive, release, and discharge Care of Humanity Charitable Trust, event organizers, sponsors, and volunteers from any claims, liabilities, or losses arising from injury, disability, death, or damage to person/property during the event.

5. Event Modification or Cancellation

The Trust reserves the right to postpone, cancel, or modify the route or timings of Farmathon 2026 in response to extreme weather, security alerts, natural disasters, or directives from government authorities. In the event of rescheduling, registrations will automatically carry over to the new date.

6. Media & Promotion

You consent to the Trust capturing photographs and video recordings of you during the run at Anthivadi Stadium. You grant the Trust a royalty-free, perpetual license to use these media files on the trust website, social media, and newsletters for future charitable promotion.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes or claims arising out of the event registration shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hosur/Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu.
